Every Rugloops rug is made by hand in Mirzapur — by people who have spent their working lives at the loom.
Made by hand
A rug is only as good as the hands that make it.
Mirzapur has been weaving carpets for generations, and its skills are passed from one maker to the next. Our rugs are made there, in a dedicated rug-making factory, by artisans who knot, tuft, wash and finish each piece by hand.

Skill you can feel
A hand-knotted rug is built one knot at a time; a hand-tufted rug is drawn, tufted and carved by eye. Neither can be rushed, and no two pieces come out exactly alike.
That small variation — in a line, a tone, the height of the pile — is the mark of the person who made it.
